Pego beach is a 4 km long stretch of white sand with charming restaurants and wooden sunbeds doted here and there. Just over an hour from Lisbon, this sultry seaside spot is a no-brainer.
The White Villa is modern, roomy and practical, with crisp white interiors and plenty of space for sunbathing- and only walking distance from the beach.
The villa’s infinity pool is perhaps its most charming feature, surrounded by wooden planking on either side. A covered outdoor dining area kitted out with its own barbecue is positioned just next to the pool, and the entire outdoor area is over-towered by swaying palm trees that truly incite a holiday feeling.
Sunbeds are positioned on the wooden decking around the pool, as well as umbrellas for those members of the party looking for a slight respite from the gorgeous Portuguese sun. There is also a hammock, stationed on a grassy patch around the corner from the pool; the perfect zone to kick back and read your book in in peace. Or, for those more active members of your group, bicycles are available to rent for only 10 euro/ day.
The villa has 5 bedrooms in total but sleeps 12, making it a great pick for holidays with friends or family alike. Inside, creams and whites feature strongly, combined with the occasional muted brown or beige, creating an effortlessly sophisticated feel. Plush white sofas, a flat-screen TV and a surround sound speaker system are present in the living room, and the kitchen is fitted out with every amenity you could dream of.
