Next to the Cais do Sodré station there is a new market square organised and owned by Time Out. We highly recommend this both during the day or in the evening; excellent vibe, great food options, wine and cocktails bars. Lots of fun and open on the weekend until 2:00am.
Chef Kiko Martins fell in love with Peru’s national dish, Ceviche. He opened this little restaurant with a lovely big counter where you can try ceviche puro, with white fish, sweet potato pure, onion, seaweed and tiger’s milk. It’s worth the wait.

This cultural space, a former rice factory, has been transformed into a museum, trendy restaurant and relaxing lounge bar. Here one goes back in time and can appreciate the importance of this crop in the history of the Herdade da Comporta. The facilities, dating back to 1952 when shelling began at Comporta, features a delicious restaurant, offering light (pick and share) and main course meals as well as divine cocktails.

Ruina has been open since 1971 and serves traditional Portuguese dishes. It is located at the top of a hill and has an array of delicious fish and seafood options (you pick your own and they prepare it to your liking). It can get very busy so we recommend you arrive early, at about 7:30pm or late, at around 10:00pm!
